Hello SHINee

This one song may have converted me to a K-Popper. Ignore the excessive and obnoxious cloying of pretty-boys in the video and focus on the music.

Stood outside a side entrance of MGM Grand LV under darkening skies and lowering temps as the time drew nearer for the pop stars to materialize on the red carpet. I had to remain alert for the lucky toss of a free T-shirt or poster. The excited crowd, comprised mostly of squealy teenaged girls, were well-behaved and nary a jostle did I have to endure. Exchanged pleasantries with a couple of moms in my immediate vicinity. The event hosts trying to keep the crowd roused. The deejay kept us entertained with continuous, pulsing K-pop music throughout and then the moment came to the opening synth notes of this particular song, and then I "felt" it. Enough to where all other noise and thoughts of my aching back and legs evaporated as I concentrated on listening in earnest. It was weird.

Hey S! At least Shinee can sing or least 1 or 2 of them can and if you look closely there's only 1 pretty member. Well to me anyway. I actually listen to quite abit of Korean music but I have an aversion to most kpop idol groups. Blame it on the auto-tune and skimpy outfits ;p

Hi Ro! Honestly, I couldn't watch the MV and even as I don't personally find all members pretty there's no doubt innumerable others find them so very appealing. Totally over-autotuned but true talent isn't on my mind when listening to the catchy hooks and beats. It's fun stuff. :)
